Jacqueline earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, and practiced pharmacy for several years. She enjoyed mentoring pharmacy students and providing patient education, but was interested in exploring science topics far beyond the scope of the medical fields. Jacqueline chose to follow her love of teaching, learning, and science to a new career, and enrolled in the Teacher Certification Program for College Graduates at Avery Point.
Jacqueline loves helping students make connections between the sciences, as well as with other subjects and the world outside the classroom. Her love of reading and learning means that she is always finding new ways to do this! During student teaching at Norwich Free Academy, Jacqueline taught chemistry to students in grades 10-12. She loved working with the students, found teaching both challenging and fun, and is eager to get back into the classroom.
