Neag School Teacher Education 2018 Community-Building Event

Please join Neag School Teacher Education students, faculty, and staff for our annual Community-Building Event on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018.

Event Details:

5-5:45 p.m.

Thomas J. Dodd Center Research Center, Atrium

Come together with students from all Integrated Bachelor’s/Master’s and Teacher Certification Program for College Graduates cohorts for a chance to mingle, network, and make new connections in UConn’s Dodd Center Atrium. Engage in meaningful conversations as we all work to build a collaborative educational community.

Dinner and dessert will be included.

6:15-8 p.m.

Thomas J. Dodd Research Center, Konover Auditorium

Following dinner, gather in the Konover Auditorium for a screening of the award-winning documentary “Backpack Full of Cash,” narrated by Matt Damon, which explores the growing privatization of public schools and the resulting impact on America’s most vulnerable children. This will be immediately followed by a discussion.

This is a student-produced event, and is co-sponsored by:  Leadership in Diversity (LID), the Teacher Education Student Association (TESA), and UConn Future Educators (UFE).
